Christie Welsh joins the New Jersey Wildcats

She comes from Massapequa Park, New York and this will be her third year playing in the W-League. Welsh played for the Lady Riders and for the Hampton Roads Piranhas from 2000-2002. She also played one year in WUSA with the New York Power before going to Europe to play for KIF Orebro in Sweden, and afterwards the Olympique Lyonnais in France.
