Indiana Blaze win away at Kentucky

Away at Kentucky and playing with their fifth different defensive lineup in six games, the Blaze adjusted quickly and took an early lead as Kara Bryan knocked in the goal in the 23rd minute. Kentucky controlled most of the half and tied the game in the 35th minute.

The second half was evenly balanced until Indiana scored in the 76th minute. Eileen Weinheimer followed up on her first shot that was deflected by Fillies goalkeeper Beth Wells, and put it away giving the Blaze their second win in a row. Indiana Goalkeeper Heather Combs had another busy night defending her goal, saving 19 shots by Kentucky.
