Xavier Seniors Celebrate Senior Day with double overtime win over Duquesne

Xavier University completed a two-day sweep with a 1-0 double overtime win over visiting Duquesne.

Senior Katie Broe scored the game-winning penalty kick 1:59 into the second overtime period.

Senior goalkeeper Megan Veith recorded her second shutout of the season with six saves.

Senior Tricia Ruszkowski (out of action all season due to an ACL knee injury) started and played the first five minutes.

Xavier out shot the visitors 24-10(10-6 on goal), and is 8-9 overall and 4-5 in the Atlantic 10 Conference.

The Xavier Musketeers end their regular season with matches at Saint Josephıs on Friday, and Temple next Sunday.
