Post game quote

Head Soccer Coach Matt Potter

We always want to set a standard for winning home games and today is no different. We had some moments early on that with a little composure the scoring could have been a little different, but we made hard work of it and the bottom line is we found a way to hit the back of the net. Credit to Oregon for continuing to plug-away and creating chances. We could have found ourselves in a hole, but we kept at it, we kept up the attack and walked away with a clean slate.

Rachel Rodrick

This win was so important for us. We were at a point that we could not lose anymore. We were losing close games to hard teams, so it feels good to go out and win 2-0 in conference play.

Washington Cougars record is now 5-8-0 overall and 1-2 in Pac-10 play.

The Washington Cougars play Oregon State on Sunday, October. 19th. at noon at Lower Soccer Field.
