Post game quote

Washington Head Coach Lesle Gallimore

I thought Lisa Brookens was outstanding today. She played great against an Arizona team that has good speed. Lisa has worked hard for three years. She showed today what she is capable of when she focuses for 90 minutes.

It is out of our hands now. We will just watch the selection show and find out. I cannot imagine that we are not a tournament team out of 64 teams, but you never know. We have got wins over Texas and Maryland, a tie against Connecticut and three of our losses were to the top teams in the country, North Carolina, UCLA and Portland,

I have a better feeling right now than I had at this time last year. Our late season performance has been better than last year. Our team will be watching the tournament selection with excitement as opposed to nervousness.
