Wake Forest celebrates home opener by beating Georgia

Wake Forest won their fourth game of the season defeating Georgia 3-1 in the home opener giving them a win record of 4-0.

Wake Forest outshot the Bulldogs 13-1 in the first half with Junior Katherine Winstead scoring two goals. The Bulldogs tried to come back when Ashley King scored but Sara Creighton scored the game-winning goal.

The Demon Deacons remain at home on Tuesday to play the Wildcats of Davidson at 8:00 pm.
