November 12, 2002 USC plays San Diego at UCLA on Friday in NCAA first round USC (10-7-3) play San Diego (11-6-3) in the first round of the NCAA Tournament at 6 p.m. on Friday November,15th. at Drake Stadium on the UCLA campus. On Sunday November 17th. at 1 p.m. the winner plays the winner of the UCLA-Loyola Marymount game. It is the fifth straight NCAA Tournament appearance for USC.
