USC is now 6-4-3 overall, and 1-1in Pac-10, after defeating its third Top 10 team of the season. They dominated the contest by recording a 19-7 margin in shots, including several shots in the first half that bounced off the post and crossbar.
Sophomore goalie Julie Peterson sets school record with seventh shutout of the season.

USC continues Pac-10 with games at Arizona State on Friday October, 18th. at 7 p.m., and Arizona on Sunday October, 20th. at 1 p.m.
