Tarpley hat trick is staple of visiting North Carolina complete control of Washington State in season opener

UNC took control in the first 28 seconds of the game and never relinquished it as they defeated thr Washington State Cougars 4-0 in front of the home crowd 1,052 at Husky Soccer Field in first-day action at the Arena Sports Pac-10/ACC Challenge.
