University of Richmond adds Assistant Coach Brooke Sands

Former Richmond student-athlete Brooke Sands will be an assistant coach on Head Coach Peter Albright's staff this coming season.

Sands will receive her MEd in Sport and Exercise Psychology from University of Virginia in August. She was a volunteer assistant with the Cavaliers last season. Sands has served as head coach for the S.O.C.A. (Soccer Organization of Charlottesville-Albemarle) Under-13 Girls squad for the past two years.

She was a four-year letter winner for the Spiders. The third team All-American honoree is the program's all-time leader in goals, points, game-winning goals, and shots.
