Six players sign with the University of Richmond

Defender Ashleigh Blumer from Manassas, Virginia (Forest Park High School) BRYC Attack, and four-year member of the Virginia ODP team

Defender Susan Boyer from Paoli, Pennsylvania (Conestoga High School) Penn Strikers, Eastern Pennsylvania ODP team for five years and the ODP Region I team in 2003.

Goalkeeper Katy Hudson from Clarksville, Maryland (River Hill High School) RFC Milan, and Maryland ODP team.

Striker Melanie Varga from East Meadow, New York (captain East Meadow High School) Albertson Express, and Region I Eastern New York ODP team.

Midfielder Jessie Wolfe from Germantown, Maryland (Damascus High School) Damascus Spirit, and Maryland ODP team.

Striker Jamie Zimmerman from White Hall, Maryland (John Carroll High School) RFC Milan, and Maryland ODP team. She is the reigning 2004 Hartford County Player of the Year.

"The signing of this class represents a bold step forward for the Richmond soccer program," Head Coach Albright said. "This recruiting class is entering with high expectations and each of these players has the talent and high level playing experience to impact the program."
