Purdue off to Champaign, Illinois to play DePaul

Purdue and DePaul are bracketed with Western Michigan and 16th. seed Illinois.

"I hope this is a start of a great tradition here at Purdue," said head coach Rob Klatte, who leads his team into the NCAA postseason for a second straight year. "I know we have the talent, but we have a tough test in the first round against DePaul, and a very challenging opponent in Illinois. DePaul definitely poses a challenge, they are a much better team from when we last played them."

Last Sunday Western Michigan overwhelmed Bowling Green 4-1, to win their first MAC Championship, and Illinois shut out three consecutive opponents to win their first Big Ten title.
