Washington Head Coach Lesle Gallimore

She was great on crosses, great on coming out on breakaways and she made one point blank save that was just awesome. Portland is a really good team and they have a lot of dangerous options. We knew coming out in the second half that we were going to have to weather a storm and attack from them and we withstood it well.

Everyone who is playing is contributing very well and those who are not playing are attentive and supportive. Itıs truly been a team effort up to this point. Everyone is on the same page and our leadership has been tremendous.

Washington plays San Diego on Friday, October 1st., and San Diego State on Sunday, October 3rd. as it continues its road trip. Their next home game is against USC on October 15th.
