Santa Clara Senior Leslie Osborne voted NCAA Player of The Year

Leslie Osborne is a senior majoring in Communication at Santa Clara University, California. She comes from Menomonee Falls, Wisconson. As mid-fielder and team captain she started all twenty-five games. Her college record included 44 goals, and 122 points. She is a member of the U.S. National Team.

The honor gives her one of the twelve Honda Awards, given annually to the top athletes in 12 NCAA-sanctioned sports, and an automatic nomination for the Collegiate Athlete of the Year, which will be determined by separate balloting involving all NCAA-member institutions. The winner will receive the Honda-Broderick Cup in New York in June 2005.
