First ACC Player of 2002 season is Canadian U-19 National Team member Sarah Kosey

Wake Forest freshman midfielder Sarah Kozey was named Atlantic Coast Conference Player of the Week after leading the Demon Deacons to consecutive victories over Oregon and Oregon State. Kozey is a native of Halifax, Nova Scotia where she was a member of the Canadian National U-19 team and the 2002 U-19 World Cup squad. In her first appearance as a Demon Deacon, Kozey scored a goal in Wake Forest's shutout of Oregon. During their 2-1 win over Oregon State, she took five shots and one assist.
