July 11, 2003 Manoj Khettry is new assistant coach at University of Dayton University of Dayton Head coach Mike Tucker has appointed Manoj Khettry to his coaching staff. Khettry, 38 replaces Greg Sheen who stepped down in June. "I am very excited that Manoj will be joining our staff," said Tucker. "He has a great background in collegiate soccer and will bring a lot a of new and different ideas that will be very healthy for our team." Khettry was an assistant coach at Missouri assisting with recruiting efforts and implementing a year-long goalkeeper training program and a year-long team technical development program for all field players. He coordinated the Missouri Nike-Tiger Classic, the Missouri Soccer Camps and was the team's budget manager. He holds an "A" license from the United States Soccer Federation and the NSCAA Advanced National Diploma. Previously he had been in Beaverton, Oregon for two years with adidas America serving as the Promotions Manager for United States Youth Soccer and the National Soccer Coaches' Association of American (NSCAA). His duties included managing the Girls Olympic Development Program's Elite Player component and the organization of the adidas Cup International Event, which is now known as the FIFA Women's U19 World Cup. He initiated the US Youth Soccer/NSCAA marketing strategy and handled all budgetary responsibilities of the $4 million adidas/US Youth Soccer contract.
