University of Washington Junior Tina Frimpong is 2003 Pac-10 co-Player of the Year Tina Frimpong led the conference with 13 goals, and is co-Player of the Year with UCLA defender Nandi Pryce.
She came out of Hudson Bay High School in Vancouver, Washington and has scored 27 goals in her first two years at Washington. Hope Solo (2001) and her are the only two players from the University of Washington ever to receive the award and both were honored following their junior seasons. Her twin sister, Crystal Frimpong, is a senior forward at Florida.
