The University of Denver put the game out of reach early in the first half with a three-goal barrage less than 13 minutes into the game. They dominated from start to finish and recorded 27 shots against North Texas.

The Denver Pioneers, winners of six straight and nine consecutive at home, take over first place in the Sun Belt Conference standings with a 8-1-2 overall record, 3-0 in league play.

Next weekend they play Sun Belt Conference foes Middle Tennessee and Western Kentucky in the final two games of this four-game home stand. The Blue Raiders on Friday afternoon October,11th. at 4 p.m., and the Hilltoppers on Sunday October,13th. at noon.
