Dayton victorious over Georgetown

The University of Dayton improved to 3-0-0 on the season with a 3-1 victory over Georgetown University at Baujan Field Friday night.The Flyers, hosting the inaugural Dayton Marriott Flyer Classic, outshot the Hoyas 16-7 in the match. Senior Liz Brown (Kettering, OH) struck the game-winner in the 48th minute.

Marquette University (2-1-0) won the opening game of the Dayton Marriott Flyer Classic, 2-0, over The Ohio State University (0-3-0).

The Dayton Marriott Flyer Classic continues Sunday at Baujan Field.

The Flyers playthe Marquette Golden Eagles at noon

Ohio State and Georgetown will play at 2:30 p.m.
