The Flyers came out on fire and scored in the fifth minute. Their defense gave UMass very few offensive chances and their offense kept the Minutewomen on their heels all afternoon with a 27-5 advantage in shots.

Next weekend The Dayton Flyers play conference matches against George Washington and Richmond. Friday night’s game against the Colonials is at 7:30 p.m. Sunday's match against the Spiders will be at 1:00 p.m. and broadcast by Time Warner Television (tape-delayed).
