Dayton's Liz Brown named as Player of the Week in Atlantic 10 Conference

For the second time this season Liz Brown, an Alter High School graduate, has been named Player of the Week in the Atlantic 10 Conference.

She scored her first career hat trick, including the game-winner,and added an assist in Dayton's 6-0 win over Temple on November 1st.

She leads the Flyers in scoring for the season with 29 points, the 11th-best single-season point total in school history. Her 11 goals, seven assists and 29 points are all career-bests. She also has scored an A-10-best five game-winning goals and is third in the conference in scoring.

She leads the regular season co-champion Flyers into the Atlantic 10 Championship this weekend at their Baujan Field. On Friday night second seed Dayton () will play third-seed Richmond at 7:30 p.m. The first semi-final match will be top-seed Rhode Island versus fourth-seed George Washington at 5:30 p.m.
