Post game quotes

Clemson Head Coach Todd Bramble

Today's match was everything that I hoped for. We wanted to come out and create some energy, and we got off

to a great start. Today we needed to make a statement against one of the better teams in the nation, and I am very pleased with today's performance.

Dayton Head Coach Mike Tucker

Stacy played well. Neither goal was her fault. She did a great job back there and held up her end of the bargain. Not having Jen (Simonetti) in there all week, we saw a difference in our level of training. It carried over to today and we allowed a very good team to take it to us.

The Clemson Tigers return to action play Rhode Island in the second round of the Furman Select Kickoff Classic. on Sunday afternoon.

The Dayton Flyers play host Furman Paladins in the final match of the Select Kickoff Classic on Sunday at 3:00 p.m.
