Martin Methodist College in Pulaski, Tennessee wins the 2005 NIAA National Championship with a multi-national squad.

In November MMC claimed their first ever national championship beating Lee University 1-0 in the Final game. Their season record was 23-1-1, scoring 124 goals and allowed only eight with 17 shutouts.

Eight countries are represented in the player roster.

Eight from the USA, three from England, three from Sweden, four from Japan, two fro Canada, One from Australia, one from Germany, and one from Brazil.

Communication (Blarney?) amongst the team must surely be helped by the presence of their Head Coach Gerry Cleary from Ireland, and the assistant coach Peter Anthony from Trinidad& Tobago.

They have shared their skills by going to neighboring cities and to Alabama to conduct soccer clinics for young boys and girls.
