Umea IK are Swedish League Champions for third consecutive year

Umea IK finished at the top of the Swedish premier league this Saturday for the third consecutive year, with a record number of points ‚61. Second place Malm–, with 58 points, were unbeaten but had three draws.

Hanna Ljungberg of Umea IK won the scoring league with 39 goals, which is an all time record.

77 years ago Filip Johansson scored 39 goals in the Swedish men's inaugural premier league.
