Draw for 2001/2002 UEFA Women's Under-19 Championship takes place at UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland.

The Committee announced that the final phase of the European Women's Under-18 Championship (which will from now on be known as the European Women's Under-19 Championship) will involve eight teams instead of four. The final-round participants will be divided into two groups of four teams, with semi-final and final matches to crown the European champions.
