Italy's Serie A championship is over

Italy's Serie A championship is now officially over. This year's winner is
Sardinian club Torres which finished with 83 points, 14 points ahead of 2nd place runner-up Foroni and 17 points ahead of Patrizia Panico's Lazio who, by the way, has won once again the title of leading goalscorer with 41 goals (3 of those pks). Runner-up to that title is Torres' Angeles Parejo with 33 goals.

With the championship now over Italian head coach Carolina Morace will now work with her national team on preparing for the upcoming and all-important European Championship.
