Switzerland as a group runner-up, with 6 points and plus 3 goal difference, are ahead of Norway (5 points, + 2 GD) and therefore reach the UEFA final Tournament of 2002.

Norway must wait for results in the last group to be played, in Germany next week, to know their destiny.
