FIFA allows Kristy Moore to represent England in international competition

FIFA has informed the England FA that the games that Fulham forward Kristy Moore played for Australia were friendly internationals giving her the go ahead to play for England. Moore is eligible for England because of her English mother. Last summer she joined Fulham on a professional contract and was part of the squad that won the Southern Division championship, the Premier League Cup and the FA Cup.

She is part of the squad that plays Nigeria on Tuesday 23rd July, in a Nationwide friendly international that presumably will leave her still uncommitted to any either country. Kirsty Pealling of Arsenal has withdrawn because of work commitments. Brighton & Hove Albion goalkeeper Layla Young has earned a recall to take the remaining place in the squad of 24.
