Two top club level scorers, Hanna Ljungberg and Lene Madsen, to meet in 2003 UEFA Cup Finals

Two top club goal scorers in the world will be in opposing teams when Umeå IK and Fortuna Hjørring meet in the finals. The home and away legs will be played on Monday the 9th of June in Umeå and Saturday the 21st of June in Hjørring. Both finals are being aired live on TV2 Denmark.

Hanna Ljungberg, from Umeå, is currently named as Europe's most dangerous league striker, setting a scoring record last year in Allsvenskan (Sweden's league) with 39 goals.

Lene Madsen, Fortuna Hjørrings who is ranked fourth in the world for the most club goals scored, with 357 goals. Madsen, who is 30 years old and has played for Fortuna Hjørring since 1993, holds the Danish club goal scoring record with 46 goals in the 1995 season. Lene Madsen has also scored 10 international goals in 32 games for Denmark.
