Morace and Levati make peace in Italy

Mario Rimati

National Head Coach Carolina Morace and Italian Women’s Soccer Division President Natalina Ceraso Levati kissed and made up last Friday at Italian FA headquarters in

Petrucci.

Morace had been absent from the official presentation of the 1st and 2nd division championships two weeks ago. Some had suspected that there had been a

communication breakdown between Morace and Levati. The meeting at the FA was intended to bring the two together and to confirm Morace as the head coach.

Morace said that the meeting was needed in order to bring a certain degree of serenity in the Division. Morace also expressed the concern that more needs to done for women's soccer in Italy. She will now be concentrating her attention on the October 10th match

in Siena, Italy, against Russia.
