Post games quotes

England Head Coach Mo Marley

It was disappointing because we had a game plan but did not stick to it. We got frustrated and lost our discipline, and in the first half we were sloppy and untidy. We had made it clear to the players that we knew it was going to be hard, but it wa snot until half-time that they believed it. We were far better in the second half though, and although our extra goals came late we deserved them because of our pressure. We are happy to have qualified for the next round but we want to continue our unbeaten run and finish at the top of the group. We are about to come up against a tough Welsh team and it will be an interesting game. Our players are familiar with the Welsh girls so there will not be a surprise element, but to get the result we want we shall have to go into the game totally focused and keep it that way for 90 minutes.

Wales Head Coach Andy Beattie

The pressure is off us now we have qualified for the next round so we shall have a good crack at it on Saturday. England will be favourites and it might be a bit like our game against Bulgaria, only this time with us doing the defending and aiming to hit on the break. The girls are looking forward to it though, and we shall give it our best shot.
