Bjarne Berntsen is Norway's new head coach

He played for Norway in the 1980s and has coached two men's teams. First FK Bryne FK, and then Viking FK from 1992 to 1995. Four years later he returned there as director until losing his place recently after a club reorganization. This will be the first time he has coached women, but he said that he would get help from the two previous male national team coaches Per-Mathias Høgmo and Âge Steen. He will take charge of the national team immediately.
