England loses to France in semi-final of UEFA U-19 Championship

For the second year running England failed to reach the Final game. France who lost in last years final now face Norway, whom they tied 2-2 in the first game of group competition, in Sunday's Final.

Coach Marley played her strongest side, and McDougall hit the crossbar in the 11th minute 's with a long range shot, but France took the lead a minute later when a low shot from Josserand went in off the post. England tried desperately to equalise the rest of the half. England attacked continuously in the second half but France held and an insurance goal came for them when DeBonne scored with only one minute left in regular time.
