WSW congratulates our longtime correspondent and friend Xanthi Konstantinidou who was recently appointed as the Technical Manager of the Greece Olympic Team hosting the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens. Greece. She has been responsible for keeping the dreams of the soccer playing women in Greece alive during these last years.
As part of the preparation for the the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, Greece, the Greek Soccer Federation has decided to include on the Olympic Women's Soccer team players of Greek ancestry living outside Greece who would be interested in participating.
