November 27, 2002 OFC FIFA World Cup 2003 qualifying Championship Ten countries will participate in the OFC championship to be held in Canberra Australia from April 5-13, 2003. Australia has been placed in Group A and New Zealand in Group B. The (8)eight other countries; Papua New Guinea, Fiji, Samoa, American Samoa, Cook Islands, Vanuatu, Tonga & Tahiti; will be placed into the groups by a draw. The draw will be held in mid-December. The winner of the tournament will advance to the 2003 FIFA World Cup in China.
