Comments by Head Coach Mulvey I think it’s fair to say every Youth player has had a fair opportunity to push their case, if not in camp, then in national championships and national league. I’m quite confident that the eighteen chosen are the best available – they give the side good balance defensively and a lot of attacking options. The players have been working hard in their NTC programs, but the one thing missing in our preparation has been international competition. However, I have full confidence in the players being ready to give of their best for their country. This is certainly the biggest challenge yet for these players apart from Kate McShea, and I’m confident that we’re up for the challenge.
