1 Umeå(C) 3 (1-2) Öster -HIF Alingsås (P) 0-0 Djurgården -Mallbacken (P) 0-0 Hammarby 1 Malmö
4 (0-2) Sunnanå
(P) 2 Bälinge 0 ( 0-0). Standings C= Champion, P= Promoted this year Scoring leaders Commentary Champion Umeå showed its best when visiting Kopparbergs/Landvetter. It was supposed to become a top fight but Umeå was too good. K/L however was efficient and scored to make it 1-1 on a free kick. Malin Moström scored her first goal this year and was the key player this time for Umeå. Maria Bergkvist and Linda Dahlqvist are not in the national teams. It is the first time Umeå is on the top of the league his season. Former champion Älvsjö is chasing the leaders and got a good goal difference when visiting Kristianstad/Wä. Two excellently performed halves gave Älvsjö a 6-0 win. Jenny Syrén scored for the first time this season and then it became three goals in the same game. National team stopper Jane Törnqvist was rested because of a slight hip injury. Öster took its first point against HIF Alingsås, both teams in real need of points. Öster was closest. Too many players have lost their self confidence in scoring. Coach Per-Åke Andersson looks for positive items under microscope: - We got the first point in the first match our opponents did not score. Djurgården and Mallbacken played also a goal-less game. But those two teams are at the upper part of the table. Mallbacken (P) is still surprising. The Djurgården forwards were to eager to score and should have been not so selfish. Mallbacken changed their two top keepers at half time. Barbara Rembiesa (former keeper of Poland´s national team) replaced Carola Söborg. A free kick and a penalty by Malin Andersson put Malmö ahead of Hammarby when visting Stockholm. It seems that coach Lena Videkull has brought back the easy way of playing into her team. Mia Westerblad, one of the new young players of the Malmö-team scored her two first league goals in the second half. At the end of the game Sunnanå´s Lina Johansson saved the victory against Bälinge 2-0. Sunnanå won the second game in a row, thus putting Bälinge below the relegation line.
