September 2, 2001 15th round results played September 1st-2nd in Damallsvenskan, Sweden´s premier league Bälinge 1 Sunnanå 3 (1-0) Bälinge Linda Blom Sunnanå Helena Svärd (67), Lina Johansson (71), Anna Bodén (88) Bälinge looked like the winner after dominating the first half. But just one goal was too little. The corner kicks were 8-0 in Bälinge favour. Suddenly the game switched in the secondd half. Sunnanå midfielder Helena Svärd was the great organizer not only by scoring the equalizing goal for Sunnanå. If Sunnanå´s goalkeeper Åsa Berglund had not made so many great saves during the first half her team would have been out of the game. The three points were crucial for Sunnanå to save a contract for next years league. HIF Alingsås 1 Öster 5 (0-2) HIF Alingsås Camilla Fredh (53) Öster Hanna Höckert (11), Linda Green (39), (49), Ann Arvidsson (67), Linda Alrikzon (PK ,89). Öster made it two wins in a row as it took its second win of the year. Linda Green a former player of Swedens national team made at spectacular come-back after spending some years in other clubs. Head coach Peråke Antonsson considers that Linda was the sole heroine: “The team have played better than this against the top teams. We have found the right track to new wins.” Mallbacken 4 Djurgården 1 (4-1) Djurgården Sara Johansson (5) Mallbacken Jenny Monsén (15), (43), Jenny Larsson (28), Jenny Larsson 31 Mallbacken lost its previous game against the bottom team Öster and now beats the top team Djurgården which missed key player Jessika Sundh. She got her 3rd YC in the previous game and was disqualified for this match. Jenny Monsén found many gaps in Djurgården´s defense. She assisted Jenny Larsson with one of the two goals and scored twice herself. Malmö FF 6 Hammarby 1 (0-0) Malmö FF Therese Lundin (61), (86), 2-0 Luiza Pendyk (67), (88), (89).Therese Norberg (78) Hammarby 2-1 Salina Olsson (68) Nobody could predict that there would be seven scores in the second half after watching a scoreless first one. Hammarby played well during the first half, "sacrificing" Salina Olsson as sole attacker. Malmö FF saved their best forward until the second half. Then Luiza Pendyk speeded up the game. Hammarby´s defenders were to tired to follow Luiza during the last minutes which became disasterous for the Stockholmers. Älvsjö 5 Kristianstad/Wä 1 (3-0) Älvsjö Victoria Svensson (8,13 PK, 22, 69, 82), 5-1 Kristianstad/Wä Nilla Fischer (84) Victoria Svensson will win the scoring race this fall. For the first time in her career Victoria scored five times in a league game. The last one was her 24th this year. National team midfielder Linda Fagersröm came back after some weeks of injury recovery. It seems though that Jessica Thorn got a bad kneel injury when she had to leave the field. Umeå IK 6 Kopparbergs/Landvetter 1 (1-1) Kopparbergs/Landvetter Amelie Olausson (45) Umeå IK Tina Nordlund (32), (90), Emma Lindqvist, Therese Kapstad (64), Anna Sjöström (83), Hanna Ljungberg (88) Umeå dominated the match although K/L equalized late in the first half. In the second half UIK showed class. The first score by Tina Nordlund was the goal of the game, a gritty half volley. K/L missed some key players in the defense. It gave three fast extra goals for Umeå during the last minutes. On Wednesday Umeå plays Malmö at home in the semifinalround of Sweden´s Cup tournament.
