Commentary

The top fight was in Malmö. Umeå dominated the first half, playing fasterin the midfield. Malin Andersson of Malmö hit the cross bar and the post. After the equalizer the Malmö team gained strengh and the rest of the match was very close. Umeå is still missing Hanna Ljungberg after her injury before last weeks innternational in Norway.

Älvsjö showed top class play against Hammarby. Anna Pohjanen started the
scoring and then assisted with the three consecutive scores.

The big surprise in Landvetter was that the newly promoted Mallbacken beat the leader of the league by a single goal.

Elin Flyborg was the star player of the match when her Djurgården beat promoted Sunnanå.

Promoted HIF Alingsås took its first Allsvenskan point ever playing 2-2 in Kristianstad. However the home team switched the game from 0-1 to 2-1. Nilla Fischer´s 2-1 strike just under the cross bar deserved to become a winning goal.
Bälinge and its players are recovering from injuries. The two scorers are among them and first time starters this year.
