October 28, 2001 22nd (last) round results of Damallsvenskan, Sweden´s premier league By Thorsten Frennstedt October 27thHammarby 0 Sunnanå 1 (0-1) Lina Johansson (57) Both team saved the ball on their goal lines in the first half. Salina Olsson was back for Hammarby after her disqualification for the previous match, but it did not make much difference. She and Ulrika Hultman both hit the post. Sunnanå´s keeper Åsa Berglund played a safe game, as did Janina Sundqvist in front of her. Thanks to them Hammarby did not break through during their last minutes of pressure soccer. Kopparbergs/Landvetter 4 Öster 0 (0-0) Jennie Svensson (60), Therese Bjurenlind (65), Marit Björstedt (79), Amelie Olausson (89). Öster was ready for relegation although the first half was one of its best performances of a bad season, and K/L keeper Ulrika Mellberg had to make a great save to stop of Hanna Höckert´s blast. Öster´s keeper Lena Gunnarsson twice made saves when K/L forwards burst through. Kristianstad/Wä 1 Djurgården 2 (1-0) Kristianstad/Wä Åsa Lindberg (31), Djurgården Elin Flyborg (66), (87) A go ahead goal would have been enough to keep Kristianstad/Wä back in the league. Elin Flyborg did not play the first half. Her equalizer sent the home side down to the first division. Kristianstad/Wä had just one more chance to score. The header by Katarina Andersson was easily saved by Kickan Sigfridsson the kepper of Djurgården. The first goal was a succesful blast header by Åsa Lindberg off a corner kick. Umeå - Mallbacken 6-1 (4-0) Umeå Hanna Ljungberg (17), Malin Moström (37), Tina Nordlund (41), (43), (84), Anna Sjöström (72) Mallbacken Therese Stolpe 55 The win marked Umeå´s 31st consecutive non-defeated league match. Umeå won the Allsvenskan for the second time in a row and became the first team ever not to lose a match. After the game Hanna Ljungberg and her team mates were awarded the Swedish FA’s Gold Medals as Swedish Champions. Älvsjö 1 Bälinge 1 (1-1) Älvsjö Lotta Fridh (7) Bälinge Josefin Öqvist (32) One of Sweden´s veterans of the National team ended her career also for her club. Åsa Lönnqvist played 76 internationals and won four Swedish Championships for Älvsjö AIK. Victoria Svensson was unlucky and failed to add another goal to her 34 scored in the league. Her PK was cleared by Bälinge´s keeper Åsa Wallgårda. Älvsjö was expected to win safely after Lotta Fridh´s early 1-0. The equalizer by Josefin Öqvist, from a counter attack was the first real chance for Bälinge. Malmö 5 HIF Alingsås 0 (1-0) Luiza Pendyk (10, 51), Malin Andersson (53, 79), Therese Sjögran (58) For the two strikers Therese Lundin assisted and had a chance of her own.
