April 25, 2005 International Match Calender, and FIFA U-17 World Championship up for consideration by FIFA Executive Committee For the first time the FIFA committee for Women’s Football has put together a proposed co-ordinated international match calender for 2006-2008. This proposal, plus one asking for a FIFA Under-17 World Championship similar to the men’s, is subject to aproval by the FIFA Executive Committee. The committee received an update and news about the concerning the FUTURO III programme and Financial Assistance Programme which specifies that at least 10% of FIFA's financial assistance payments to the confederations and member associations must be dedicated to the development of their women's football programs.
