March 29, 2004 Host bidding for 2006 U-19 has started   Several countries are bidding to host the 2006 U-19 tournament. A record eight countries have submitted applications to host the 12 team tournament. The countries are: Australia, Sweden, Italy, South Africa, Denmark, England, South Korea & France. The field of eight will be narrowed down to four by late 2004 and the winning host will be announced in spring 2005.
