September 15, 2002 The Countdown ceremony to 2003 World Cup is to be held in Shanghai By Jia Ailing The Countdown ceremony to 2003 World Cup will be held in Shanghai on September 20th.,the LOC of 2003 FIFA Women's World Cup said in Beijing today. The committee will also present the mascot of 2003 World Cup at the ceremony. The China Football Association will honor eight players who have contributed to China women's soccer, the list includes. Sun Wen and China national team coach Zhong Honglian. The mascot is named ’"Mulan’" the name of a famous heroine in China history.
