Rosangela Alfenas Under-19 Cup to take place as Brazil prepares for First Under-19 South American Championship

The director of the Brazilian Confederation of Soccer, CBF is organizing a six team tournament between the 9 and March 11 in the city of Ubá, Mines Gerais, for players born after January 1º 1983.

CBF's reason for the contest is to prepare for selection of a Brazilian Team to play in the South American Under-19 Championship that will take place next year next year in preparation for the Under-19 Women's World Championship.

The competition will consist of six teams: Gremio, RS, Portuguese Esperanza, Juventus, SP, Vasco, RJ, Guarani of Campiñas and Fluminense, RJ.

The First Brazilian Under-19 Championship will be held in December.
