October 3, 2004 New Brazilian League formed in Rio De Janeiro The Rio de Janeiro Women Soccer Association - "The Club of Ten" created a new league for the following ten clubs of Rio De Janeiro during their meeting in Maracana on September 23, 2004. Campo Grande Comercial Team Chicago Brasil LPD - Petropolis CEPE Caxias CEPE Angra dos Reis Real Madri Clube Comary Desportiva Niteroiense Esportiva Trindade The first tournament will begin on October 10th, and the State Championship will start on October 24th.   The President of the AFFRJ is Jose Tito Jacomini, the former Presidente of Niteroi Soccer League, and the Vice-President is Alexander Mathias who has worked in the Botafogo, Flamengo and Brazilian Confederation.
