April 8, 2002   Trinidad & Tobago sweep Suriname in warm-up series Trinidad & Tobago got their final preparations for the FC Under-19 Championship off to the best possible start, sweeping a three-match series in Suriname.The Soca Princesses won the matches, played from 30 March - 5 April, by scores of 5:0, 6:0 and 3:1. Akheela Mollon hit the back of the net six times in the three victories, while Tasha St. Louis added five goals for T&T. Both recorded hat tricks in the second match.Both teams are in the FC finals, set for 7-11 May in Trinidad & Tobago. The host nation have been drawn in Group A along with Jamaica, Mexico and Panama. Suriname will be matched with USA, Haiti and Costa Rica in Group B.
