Game

Mexico made this the first real match of the tournament, and their skill and soccer savvy brought Canada down to earth..  Two unlucky own goals plus missing open goal opportunities were their downfall, and they could not match the Canada's physical style. Losing the use of one of their best players, Gerardo, in the first half because of  injury hurt their scoring ability. The best played game of the tournament so far.
