August 25, 2002 Dates announced for Haiti-Suriname qualifying series Haiti will host the first leg of the series on Saturday September, 1 with Suriname as the setting for the second match one week later. The winner of the series will be the zone’s third and final representative at the Gold Cup held in four venues on the West Coast of North America from 27 October – 9 November. The winner of the Haiti-Suriname series will be placed in Group B, joining Canada, Costa Rica and Jamaica in Victoria, British Columbia. Group A consists of USA, Mexico, Panama & Trinidad & Tobago.
