Caribbean U-19 Championship qualifying results
Host Antigua & Barbuda will face Suriname in a final winner-take-all in Group B for the final Caribbean spot in the FC Under-19 Women's Tournament. Antigua & Barbuda beat Dominica 8:0 to open the tournament, went past Guyana 3:1 in their second match, as Akeliah Hillhouse scored twice in the first 10 minutes to raise her strike total to five for the tournament. Suriname hammered Guyana 7:1 before overwhelming Dominica 12:0 with five goals from Suzanna Berenstein, who scored two in the previous game. The winner of Tuesday's match will move into the final tournament, to be held in Trinidad & Tobago from 5-12 May 2002. They will join Caribbean qualifiers Haiti and Jamaica, North Zone entrants USA, Canada, Mexico, winner of the Central American qualifier and the host country.
