Host Mexico was placed in Group A, and the rest were drawn. Group A Mexico Canada Panama Trinidad & Tobago Group B Winner of UNCAF Triangular 2 (to be played) USA Surinam Jamaica The winners and runners-up of each group will advance to the semi-finals. The winners of the two semi-finals, and the winner of a third place playoff between the losers will represent CONCACAF at the 2006 FIFA U-20 World Championship in Russia from August 17– September 3.
